Please use care when changing your router wifi password if a Deep Sentinel camera is connected to it.
Changing the router password while cameras are connected will cause the cameras to go offline.
If this happens to your system, please do the following to reconnect your cameras.
In the app:
- Select Settings, Select Device Manager, Select the affected camera, Select Delete Camera
- Factory reset the cameras
- Remove the battery for 15 seconds, reinsert the battery, press and hold the power button for about 10 seconds until the red ring flashes and then let go
- In Device Manager, Select +Add a new device, Select Camera and follow the instructions
Preferred method - Prior to changing the password, move the wifi connected cameras back onto the hub then, change the Router password. After the Router password is changed, move the cameras back onto the wifi.
Using this method will eliminate the need to physically touch the cameras and will be less effort.
