How To Find And Download An Event In The Deep Sentinel Mobile App

Follow these simple steps to locate and save a video event from your Deep Sentinel system:

Step 1: Open the History Tab

• Launch the Deep Sentinel app on your mobile device.

• Tap on the "History" tab from the home screen.

• By default, this section filters for verified events (events reviewed by a guard).

Step 2: Filter or Search for Events (Optional)

To view more specific events:

• Tap the filter (hamburger) icon in the top left corner.

• Choose your filter options (e.g., by camera, event type).

  • Selected filters appear brown in the Business App or purple in the Residential App.

  • Unselected filters appear in black or grey.

• Once your selections are made, tap the filter icon again to return to your filtered results.

Additional Ways to Filter Events:

If you are looking for a specific event by date and time:

• Tap the calendar bar to choose the date of the event you wish to view.

• To filter by time, tap on the highlighted “Selected hours 12:00 AM – 11:59 PM (click to change)”.

• Choose your desired time range and tap Submit to apply the filter.

Step 3: Select the Event

• Browse the video list and tap on the event you want to view.

• The video will begin to play automatically.

Step 4: Share or Download the Event

• Tap the Share icon (located within the event view screen, top right corner).

• You will see the following options:

  • Share – Send the video clip to others.

  • Save – Download the video directly to your device.

  • Publish to Deep Sentinel – Share the clip with the Deep Sentinel team.

💡 Tip: Use filters to quickly locate incidents where guards intervened or law enforcement was contacted—these are color-coded (e.g., yellow for guard intervention, red for police involvement).
