Cancellation and Early-Termination Policy
We've designed what we see as a fair return policy.
If you have changed your mind about your purchase, you have 30 days to return the system in its original packaging with all the accessories for a full refund.* The subscription to the service will be canceled and any prepaid subscription fees will be refunded. After receiving your return and inspecting the condition of your equipment, we will process your return. Once your refund is processed, you will be notified by email.
Please allow at least thirty (30) days from the receipt of your item to process your return. Your refund may take 1-2 billing cycles to appear on your credit card/bank statement, depending on your financial institution.
After the first 30 days, you are committed to the full length of your service term, even if you choose to cancel early.
Your initial term is typically 12 months. After that, your service renews based on your billing cycle, monthly if you pay month-to-month, or annually if you’ve chosen annual billing. If you cancel before the end of your current term, you’ll still be responsible for the remaining balance.
LiveSentinel monitoring will stop as soon as you cancel, but you’ll still be able to view your live feeds and recordings. You can also inquire about moving to a self-monitoring plan after cancellation of LiveSentinel monitoring.
Self-Monitoring on the Wireless System includes Motion Alerts, Live View of Cameras, and Custom Protection Zones. Please refer to the table below for details on what is included with Self-Monitoring.
The PoE system also supports Self-Monitoring when the subscription is canceled. A Network Video Recorder (NVR) can be added and used with the Deep Sentinel Cameras to continue recording 24/7. See our article for NVR setup.
