Reconnect a Camera that has been disconnected from a Deep Sentinel WiFi Extender
If the Camera/Device LED is off, the connection from the Camera to the Extender is disconnected
If the Hub/Router LED is off, the connection from the Extender to the Hub is disconnected
When the Camera/Device LED is off, please perform the following steps
Power Button Reconnect
- Press and release the power button on the back of the camera

- A voice over the camera speaker should say "connecting", then if successful "camera connected"

- From the Admin Dashboard, check that the camera is properly connected
- Log-in as the user, via the app, and ensure that the camera can live view and the thumbnail updates and does not just display the Deep Sentinel logo

- If the camera does not say "connected" and does not connect (says "Hub not found)
- Remove the camera from the mount and bring the camera to the room where the Extender is located
- Remove the battery from the camera for 1 full minute
- Replace and install a fully charged battery inside the camera
- Press and release the power button. The camera should say "connecting" then if successful "camera connected"
- Mount the camera back to its location
- A voice over the camera speaker should say "connecting", then if successful "camera connected"

If the camera fails to connect after attempting the steps above, please continue with the following
Factory Reset and Manual Pair
- Ensure that the Camera is in the room where the Extender is located
- Factory Reset the Camera

- Press and hold in the camera power button for a minimum of 10 to 15 seconds until the red ring flashes (let go once you see the red lights flash)
- Remove the battery from the camera for 15 seconds then reinsert the battery

- Press and release the WPS button on the left side of the Extender, the Camera/Device LED should start flashing green
- Press and release the power button on the camera

- The camera should start flashing white and say "Pairing"
- If successful, the camera will say "camera connected"

- In the app, login and ensure the camera can live view and the thumbnail updates and does not just display the Deep Sentinel logo
If the camera fails to connect after attempted the steps above, please continue with the following
Extender Hard Reboot and Manual Pair (Note - the following is for the Deep Sentinel Extender)
- Factory reset the Extender

- Press and hold the WPS button until the bottom 2 LEDs begin to flash rapidly
- Release the WPS button
- The power LED will turn solid green

- Unplug the Extender and move it to the room where the Hub is located

- Plugin the Extender and wait for the power LED to turn solid green

- Pair the Extender to the Hub

- Remove the lid from the Hub
- Press and release the button on the left of the Hub LED

- The hub should begin to flash white
-
- Press and release the WPS button on the left side of the Extender

- The Hub/Router LED will blink
- The Hub.Router LED will turn solid green when successfully connected to the Hub

- Unplug the Extender and move it to the room where it was previously located

- Plugin the Extender and wait for the Power LED to turn solid green

- After the Power LED is solid green, wait for the Hub/Router LED to go solid green
- Factory Reset the camera

- Press and hold in the Camera Power button for a minimum of 10 to 15 seconds until the Red ring flashes (let go once you see the red lights flash)
- Remove the battery from the camera for 15 seconds then reinsert the battery

- Press and release the WPS button on the left side of the Extender, the Camera/Device LED should start flashing green
- Press and release the power button on the camera

- The camera should start flashing white and say "Pairing"
- If successful, the camera will say "Camera Connected"

- In the app, login and ensure the camera can live view and the thumbnail updates and does not just display the Deep Sentinel logo
