Why didn't my event get reviewed?
Top reasons why your event was not reviewed and verified by a guard
- Upload Speed
- Upload speed is vital for real-time crime prevention; it measures how fast your video feeds stream into our surveillance guards for review
- If your upload speed fails to meet the required speed (1.5 Mbps per camera), videos may lag and eventually fail to escalate to guards for monitoring
- Check out DS Internet Upload Speed Test and test your upload speed
- Connectivity Issue/Camera signal strength is poor
- Low camera signal strength can prevent the video from reaching our server, thus failing to ever reach our guards. Check that your camera is at least 2 bars (however 3 and 4 bars are most preferable); if 2 bars or less, try repositioning your camera(s) or hub

- Protection Zone
- As objects move in and out of the Cameras field of view, the AI determines if it is a person, vehicle, or other such as a pet or a falling leaf. If the AI determines it is a person and they move into the established Protection Zone then the video stream is immediately redirected from the AI to the LiveSentinel Center. LiveSentinel Guards then observe and monitor for potential threats
- If events with people are not reviewed by guards, please check the settings of your protection zone to ensure the protection zone is set accordingly
